The primary purpose of the MTF-Huawei Module 1.0 is to reset and format Huawei devices efficiently. However, in certain cases, the device may remain stuck on the logo even after formatting. If this occurs, additional steps must be taken to completely remove FRP and ensure a proper reset.
Step-by-Step Guide
Test 1: FRP Reset and Fastboot Format
Prepare the Device
Put your Huawei device into Huawei COM 1.0 mode using the test point method with a modified USB cable.
Ensure your SigmaBox is properly connected to communicate with the device at a low level.
Open SigmaKey
Launch SigmaKey on your computer.
Select the Platform and Port
In SigmaKey, select the following options:
Platform: Hisilicon
Port: Choose the correct port for the connected Huawei device.
Processor: Select Kirin.
Load Fastboot
In SigmaKey, click Load Fastboot to prepare the device for further actions.
Wait for the system to establish a fastboot connection.
Open the MTF-Huawei Module 1.0
Once the fastboot connection is successful, open the MTF-Huawei Module 1.0.
Perform Fastboot Format
On the MTF-Huawei Module, press 2 to initiate the fastboot format process.
Wait for the process to complete.
In Case the Device Logo is Still Visible
If the logo remains after the format, the next step is to enter recovery mode and perform a low-level format.
Step 2: Recovery Mode Format
If your device still shows the logo or remains stuck, follow these additional steps to complete the FRP reset and fastboot format.
Put the Device into Huawei COM 1.0 Mode Again
Reconnect the phone using the test point method with the modified USB cable.
Reopen SigmaKey
Launch SigmaKey again.
Select Platform, Port, and Processor
Ensure the same selections as before:
Platform: Hisilicon
Port: Correct port for the connected Huawei device.
Processor: Kirin.
Load Fastboot
Select Load Fastboot again to re-establish the fastboot mode connection.
Wait for the system to recognize the device.
Remove FRP
On the SigmaKey interface, select the option Remove FRP.
Wait for the tool to proceed with the FRP removal.
Wait for the Process to Finish
Once the FRP removal process is complete, your device should be free from the Google account lock (FRP).
By following these steps, you can efficiently reset your Huawei device and remove FRP, ensuring that it functions without any issues.
